The benefits of 1-1 coaching include:

  • Customization: 1-1 coaching is highly individualized, allowing the coach to tailor their approach, feedback, and guidance specifically to the coachee’s needs, goals, and challenges.

  • Focused Goals: The coachee can set specific, relevant goals and work directly with the coach to create action plans that align with their personal or professional ambitions.

There are a number of packages available, depending upon the timing and type of need. The two most common are a three month package of weekly meetings, or a 6 month package of fortnightly meetings.

Triad Coaching

Triad Coaching is a collaborative approach to professional and personal development that involves 3- 6 participants: the coach, the learner and observers. This model is most appropriate when participants have a common agenda and can learn from other perspectives as well as their own.

This approach provides;

  • A safe learning environment: The triad setup provides a structured and supportive space where all participants can learn from each other.

  • Shared perspectives: The different viewpoints help to challenge assumptions and introduce fresh ways of thinking about a problem or goal.

Working in this way requires a high level of trust between participants. It is often used in leadership development or organisational training, where experiential learning is emphasised. In this context it is sometimes termed Action Learning.
